I understand, however you cannot say the ASUS is "bad" for only having 1 8 pin when it is a GTX 970 and it is not the highest end ASUS GPU

Maybe I will end up with another Dell monitor...And if Samsung would be putting  up a wide monitor for gaming, then im on to them. I don't care if it is only 100Hz. Still work for me. I want the highest quality wide monitor, not some overpriced crap.

Samsung will be the same as it will be 3440x1440p 100hz, also it will be Freesync, as Samsung have not made any Gsync monitors

Okay, well if it really goes Free Sync, I might actually switch to AMD. I will see. Aparently it wont be an easy choice...

 

Here is the problem: Asus and Acer have good, but highly priced G-Sync monitors, that have issues. If you exclude them, then there aren't many other companies. I guess the Dell 1440p monitor is the only good choice if you want a cheap, but better version of the first Asus ROG (TN) panel.

 

Unfortunately other companies are more into FreeSync...so it's a really big battle which unfortunately G-Sync is closely loosing it.

PLEASE DELL just make that IPS version of S2716DG and call it a day so we can finally enjoy some quality 2016 monitor and not these overpriced Taiwan cheapos!

If I knew where to write this so their CEO sees it, then I would, but no matter if I tweet of post on FB or make a youtube video, Dell won't listen.
