Pirated windows 7 to 10

masked106

Hi guys

So my cousin is saying dont buy the windows 10 version because he apparently pirated windows 7 a while back and received a free upgrade to windows 10. Has anybody ever tried this?? Is it true?? If it is I would save a fair bit of money. A windows 10 key is probably the equivalent of 120USD (189NZD) and that takes a fair bit out of my budget.
