Help! My graphics card won't fit in correctly with the screw slot!

I've tried about 3 times inserting my GPU into the motherboard. Each time, it did not calibrate with the screw hole. It is a 750ti gpu and im using a msi 970 gaming amd motherboard. What do I do?

pictures of how you install it?

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

theres a slot where the bottom bracket of the gpu would go into the case.

Sometimes you have to push the card up to the hole. Can you post a photo?

Push it towards the back of the case. Does it line up?

I can push back a little, but it's still not fully aligned. I don't want to use a lot of force to push it in place. Unless it's ok

If you can use those square cutouts at the edge to screw into that should be fine i would think.

Force will be OK.

My 980 looks like that. I just give it a little force and bam, it's fastened down. I've taken it out many times, and it works 100% no issues.

It's fine I think every case is like that. Mine is like that. Just place in a screw into it and screw it.

look at the picture. The teeth on the GPU bracket should go into one of slots on the case by the GPU slot covers.

The slots by the GPU bracket may look different on ur case, but make sure you put the GPU into there too.

Push on it as hard as you can until it lines up and screw it in.

It just need a little tough love to place it in. You may also want to check to see if you got your motherboard secured correctly.

It looks like you forgot or didn't install your motherboard stand-offs properly. In your picture, where the rear I/OO is, I see one of the motherboard stand-offs holes has NO screw in it.

Check the motherboard stand-offs to make sure they are installed...or risk frying your motherboard / other components.
