I was wondering, if microsoft gave out windows 10 for free, wouldn't they give out Office for free too?

This is just a speculation, but if this is possible, please tell me.

They don't even give Office to MSAA (that's Microsoft Academic Alliance), yet they give pretty much everything else

Most software is "free", you just have to look for it in the right places.
