LOOK AFTER YOURSELVES!!!!

mr moose

When you have lived 7 years of your life as a drug addict and destroyed nearly all the vains in you arms there is a long way back. I do exercie a lot and try to keep fit, but healthy is far from what I am.

Just to note I am clean now and have been for 4 years

When you get hit by an IED and spend years relearning to walk and trying to overcome everything from seizures to random brain reboots and COPD from inhaling everything from sand to toxic gasses, it's a long road too ;)

Still never too late.

You could always get in shape at your age, My grandfather smoked for 40 years, weighed nearly 170KG, shredded it off, got built, and was fit as a whistle, he lived until he was 89. Determination and believing in yourself is key. Positive thinking is always a good thing too :)

Well said man. :D

Bloody good on you, mate. Staying clean for so long after such a lengthy addiction is admirable to say the least. You have my respect. :)

I don't exercise much even though I should. I'm content with a slender figure and the ability to carry groceries home.

I should start running though, maybe next year haha.

I don't smoke and only have the occasional drink so I'm fine there.

If I may weigh in, I'd suggest lifting if cardio kinda turns you away. I know it does for me. There's something called the afterburn effect (basically just short bursts of insanely intense exercise). Mike Chang explains it

. (Also, watch some of his short workout videos!) If you're looking to shred pounds that's the way to go. I did it when I could squeeze it in, but I had to strength train for football. But it helped me maintain my same weight now (18) as when I was 14. That's big, because during those years, I ate like a lineman. Also, at the beginning I could only do 85 lb for bench, 100 for squat, that sort of thing. Now I can jump squat with 315 (not fun, don't try), bench 365, powerclean my weight for reps (250), etc.

Don't be afraid to take thermogenics. Currently I'm taking OxyElite Pro (got 3 months of it for $36), and that works well. But do your own research if you want that kind of help.

Now that I'm going to college I have access to unlimited salad bar (I hate salads, but FRUIT!!!), so that should allow me to eat alot without eating unhealthy. And I'm gonna go full boar on the afterburn effect. But honestly, its never too late to get fit. Just gets harder.

It is quite easy to lose weight and get fit when you’re young, I spent a year eating mostly kebabs and KFC and drink too much beer and got up to about 195lb. When I decided that it was just stupid how unhealthy I had got it took me about 2 months to drop back down to 165.
