cakez

Hi guys I'm wondering if anyone knows if a dual GTX 980 can hold triple  ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278Q 27" WQHD G-SYNC 144Hz Gaming LED Monitor at 60 fps?If not , can you please recommend me a good monitor that my dual GTX 980 can  run  when there are 3 of those monitors?  :)

You won't get 144hz all the time in every game, like shadow of mordor or maybe witcher 3, GTA 5 etc. and especially not with max graphics on, but it is definitely viable. If you are playing MMO's or DOTA you should be getting close to your refresh rate. And with 1440p you also don't need max graphics since you (at least I can't) tell the difference between no AA and 4x AA at 1440. If you wan't to max your graphics out at the same time you would probably need 3x 980's, but personally I don't think you would be able to see the difference at that resolution.

So 7680*1440?

Not that many games you can run at 60FPS at that resolution.

If you really want surround I'd recommend the one large curved 21:9 1440p setup. Imho better than surround (cause bezels) and amazing image.
