I heard somewhere that certain countries make CPUs best. Is that true, and where is your CPU made?

Can't really tell from the picture. Maybe mail it to me and I can compare it's purity to the fictional i7 4790k  from Thailand that I own?

From my understanding, Intel CPU's made in Malaysia are the better ones. Both of my E6500K's are made there, as is my QX6850. I'm looking at the rest of my CPU's now.

I am running my Vietnam chip at 5 ghz stable with a Cooler Master AIO :D .

as far as devils canyon is conerned

 

the Vietnam chips seem to clock higher at lower voltages

 

but run hotter

 

seems to be consistent across the map. my 1st 4790k was a malay chip 4.7ghz @ 1.47V

 

2nd Vietnam 4.8ghz @ 1.35V

 

3rd Vietnam 4.8ghz@1.3V

 

I think Vietnam chip is the one to get for 4690k and 4790k
