Do you know of any free software (Not in the open source way) to update the drivers?

Just go to all the websites of the GPU and motherboard and pick the latest! They tend to have a driver checker as well

 

I dont know of any software that isnt open source

always has the newest drivers and firmware

keep in mind some of the newest drivers on the site would be beta drivers as well

if you want to get fresh drivers for a whole system use driverpacksolution. it's pretty good, but it's made to be put on disks and used for system builders or refurbishers.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Driver Booster 2 is the best in my opinion.

Try driver booster, it's free and don't worry about downloads starting slow, they always do. :)

Go to the manufacturers website instead of downloading shady malware programs.
I've only ever seen one of those actually work, and you have to pay for a license.

Try driver booster pro 2, is better than the free one !

remember to activate before installing or updating because it will remove your speed limit of downloading !

some time is a pain to update all drivers and windows update not always working :( !
