Tech/Media releases you're waiting for?

Aniallation

What tech and media/entertainment related things are you guys waiting to be released so you can check it out and possibly buy?

In terms of tech I'm waiting to see if the GTX 960 and R9 370X/380 bring a good performance:price ratio, so I can put it in my secondary rig that's using HD 4250 integrated graphics right now, and maybe frame the 9800GX2 I'll be getting tomorrow.

Aside from of course the album in my profile pic, the new Hunger Games and Hobbit movies look pretty promising. And of course GTA V for PC.

390x, and Pascal. Though if the 390x rocks I might just go with that. I'm impatient.

No Man's Sky. Way more interested in this than Star Citizen atm tbh

I'm pretty stoked on the Mad Max movie. Must see. In theater.

980ti so my HD 6770 can start crying.

Eric S. Raymond used an E6600 from 2005 until 12/30/14 or open source software creation. Raw data computations in excess of 18GB each. Core 2 Duos still have tons of life left, my friend.

Lets just cross our fingers that they're not going to add more members and make it into another Super Junior.

LG's display is pretty good, honestly. Not as color accurate as the HTC's but good nonetheless. Amoled is great on the battery, but color accuracy is shitty compared to ips. It's more vibrant so that's a plus if it's what you're going for, I guess.

As for the Nexus 6, it's fugly. Geeze, they got it right with the 5, why the hell did they go for Motorola? I mean, I'm sure it's great quality-wise but it's so ugly compared to the previous one, which is in my mind the most beautiful smartphone in the market.

Apple: #bendgate -only a major issue on the 6+, standard 6 models not widely affected. also overplayed as an issue-

HTC: Camera sucks -only a real issue with the standard M8, the E8, M8 Eye and Desire Eye have good cameras-

Nokia: WP sucks -will agree on this one, though Nokia as a company are pretty much through-

LG: Display not on par with AMOLED but decent -even though amoled screens are dimmer, more expensive and color balance issues are prevalent in devices that have been used for a while (blues wear quicker than any color in an amoled panel)-

Nexus 6: Not bad, not perfect -agreed-

OnePlus: Where do you buy one -agreed-

Every phone has it's own problems. Including Samsung.

2. who buys a phone to take pro pictures? -people appreciate a good camera-

3. idek what that thing is -Nokia, Windows Phone-

4. lg sucks just like samsung -elaborate? neither of them suck-

5. what are your complaints with it?

7. Amazon/ebay and i see lots of people giving out invites  -i got my friend an invite, he still hasn't recieved his device after a month... there are still widespread reports of issues with obtaining the device-

samsung phones wouldnt be that bad if they werent so locked down but they are so that takes care of that issue

GTA V on PC

Guardians of the Galaxy, haven't seen it yet

American Sniper release, may actually see it in theatre.

I don't usually get hyped up about much, generally leads to disappointment.
