Update #04

I have installed the sabertooth in my system (did that quite some time ago) but I didn't take to many pictures, just wanted to get my system up and running so I could sell my old components.

Sadly I only got it to 4.6Ghz.

I have received some stuff from icemodz and will probably buy a raijintek triton and then i will redo my build.

Thanks for reading!

560ti Woot woot! I love my card no matter how many times it's crashed randomly, it just powers along on any games at at least 30fps or more.

yes, it is. i had the 'g1' myself but it died but evga's awesome customer support gave me a G2. my system doesnt pull a lot so it almost never spins  :)

Damn. Oh well. It will be kinda blocked off so with luck I won't be able to hear it as easily.

Update #05

AgK4Clc.jpg

i installed the raijintek triton cpu cooler. i really, really like it.

WRmg6Rb.jpg

also installed a hot swap 2,5" device in my 5,25" bay. i dont really need it but it's cool to have and a good way to mount my ssd.

YwHm5Az.jpg

i put these cable clips in as well and sleeved a few cables.

tDobp7j.jpg

for some reason i can't find a NF-F12, i was sure i had one laying around somewhere.

wFQnA2o.jpg

cable management mess. i really have to do something about that. back panel goes on without any problems though.

E2g8YzV.jpg

this is how it looks for now.

i will definetly paint the motherboard black next time (but it's winter so that's a problem), maybe add a few white touches. suggestions?

a really cool thing to do would be to add hard tubing to the raijintek triton. cooler and radiator are at about the same height so that would work out.

please leave your thoughts and remember subscribe, it's great to get some feedback!

I love watchin build logs that are reasonable, even though linus's $6000 was pretty hot. Thanks for bringing us back to reality!

Just a guy who peaked at building back in the days of the GTX 980. If you see me here, assume i have technical knowledge akin to a committed hobbyist builder back then. If something's changed, you'll need to tell me(nicely plz). I'm probably asking for help with the modern build scene since I have no clue what's going on.

Not really an update.

This is how it looks at the moment. I am propably going to sell this build since I don't game anymore so it's kinda useless.

Don't sell it! Keep it for when you want to get back into it. This PC can still crush alot of games. :D

i know it can handle most games pretty well at low to medium but i dont play at all and i dont plan on getting into gaming again in the next two years since i have to focus on school  :(

and even if i would get back into pcs i could probably build an equally fast pc for a lot less. + i think about getting a notebook  ;)

Wait, you're gonna sell it? If so... Can I coax you into giving me a fan or two super cheap (assuming it's the proper size)?

how much are you selling it for? :)

i havent decided yet.

what do you think?

i think i paid about 900€-1000€ for the entire rig (without the many hours of work that went into this build :P )

but the "core components" (gpu & cpu) are really low end so i dont know which customer base i am targeting.. or if there is a customer base at all  :o

i think i would max out at like 550€ but the good thing is that the build has so much upgradability. Easily swap cpu and gpu and you got a beast and epic looking rig.
