TGBSeth

"HIS has announced two new Radeon HD 7850 graphics cards, the IceQ X2 and the IceQ X2 Turbo. Both cards are about the same, however the regular version of the 7850 has a clock speed of 860 MHz while the Turbo version is factory clocked at 1000 MHz."

What do you think?  Are you just holding out for the 8000 series at this point, or would you still pick up a 7xxx card?

if you need a graphics card now i guess it would be a good option, but holding out seems to be till the end of the year or maybe next year. as for the card itself, i like the cooler design but i dont like how HIS keeps using blue pcb

I would have thought that it was getting a little too late with next approaching us, but if this is priced right there are many who will buy it.

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?

Ya, the only sales they will have is if the cards are priced fairly low and are drastically lower than any 8xxx cards that come out.

I wouldn't buy a 7xxx card unless it was a 7870 priced around 150 USD (to crossfire once the prototype driver comes out). With the conjecture surrounding the 9970, I'm most likely just gonna save and get that beast of a card.
