What is the best software to remote in to a computer for free?

it is on the same netowrk and i want to remote into the systme from a mac

the remote host will be windows 10

i use teamviewer

useful for PC to PC, or my android phone to my PC

generally i would just recommend the microsoft remote desktop client then.

i use it to connect to my main F@H server.

depending on what you are doing on the windows machine it might not play nice tough, since it will generate a virtual GPU. so far the only program i ever had issues with was BOINC tough.

Microsoft Remote Desktop

 

No point in using third party software when it's built into Windows.

i do not have windwos 10 pro so it says it will not work with out PRO

Ah yeah, forgot it was only enabled in Pro.

 

You can work around it by using the RDP wrapper for home though:
