Pen drive problem

My laptop is automatically write protecting ever pendrive and sd card whenever Insert any pendrive or sd card and later I cannot format anything of this.

Can anyone say what's the problem ?

Probably but you will need to give us a bit more.
Like what type of computer what type of USB device. What operating system, etc.

The more you can share the easier the help might be.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!
