Any way to test GPU and CPU fan on a laptop?

Unsure whether to post this under laptop or cooling.

 

Mine is making a rattling noise. It's an Asus Zephyrus 701.

 

It seems to come from the left quadrant.

 

I had the laptop serviced for the same problem once.

Desktop: 7800x3d @ stock, 64gb ddr4 @ 6000, 3080Ti, x670 Asus Strix

 

Laptop: Dell G3 15 - i7-8750h @ stock, 16gb ddr4 @ 2666, 1050Ti

hmmmm.... well the best thing you can do is open the back plate, check the fans are not getting stuck or maybe they are chipped, analyze the problem, fix the problem xD 

YES, I RUN RAID 1 OVER RAID 0

It's still under warranty.

 

I'm however seeking to replicate the problem.

you could try tilting the laptop and load it up, sometimes uneven load on the fan bearing makes it go bad and rattle

had that happen to my friend's dell laptop

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately
