2080 ti not outputting video

Hello_There9876

Hi everyone. A couple of days ago my 2080 ti stopped outputting video. It is not detected in bios either. Onboard graphics works so i think it is definitely the gpu. Both the gpu and cpu re watcerooled. I have tried it in a different pcie slot. When i try to install drivers is says no compatible device. I just want to see if there is anything more I can do.

specs are as follows:

intel core i9 9900k

2080 ti FE

corsair a1600i psu

corsair hydro x watercooling

32 gb of g.skill trident rgb ram

Thanks in advanced

I am afraid the card is done for 😭

You could try to put it into a different slot and see if it changes.

Do you have another GPU to test with.

Did you overclock the card?

Welp that sucks. I already tried a different slot, no extra gpu, and no oc. I guess im gonna wait till 3080 is in stock or big navi. Thanks for your help and stay safe

You too.

Is it possible that the PCIE connectors on the gpu are dirty or damaged or something. And if so do you know if there is any way I could clean or fix them. Just let me know what you think about the pic attached

Without going to crazy you could try some Isopropyl Alcohol (rubbing alcohol) and see if it does anything for you.

Did you DDU the old drivers before the driver reinstall?

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

If I try to install drivers it says no compatible device found.

The early 2080ti FE cards had this issue, my buddy had the same thing as well as a lot of others who bought the early batches of FE cards. Unfortunately your only option would be to RMA the card as it's defective.

Then clear the CMOS. If that doesn't help, then reflash the bios.

If you want, either ask a friend to use their PC, or spend like 20$ on a cheep USB 3 card.

To double check that it is the card, and not a dead Mobo slot/PCI controller. If you have a problem with the USB card, you probably are still fine.if the card works fine, then it's your GPU

Ok. I just don't want you to sell a perfectly good card as "for parts" if yor Mobo failed. Reply if it works.
