Even if it’s not officially required branding, it’s a badge of honor knowing it’s a high value brand and series.

As a consumer, I absolutely hate it as well. But if I had a graphics card aib company, I guarantee I’d find a loophole to put it there, even if nvidia expressly told me not to do so. Branding sells.
