Onboard Ram On Laptop

i have doubt on reliability of On-board Ram Inside the Laptop 

Now laptop are coming with onboard ram and expandable memory slot too.
I have only two Question
 
1. What if the onboard ram gets corrupted
2.Does it make laptop worthless or bearing with the cost of motherboard or i can just add another ram in expansion memory slot ?

You mean the soldered so dimm inside?

It's just a normal so dimm.  Like anything else, only difference is that it's soldered.

You can add one in.  If there is an available slot. But chances for the soldered so dimm to die is very low.

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

 

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).
