I have a stain(?) On my GTX 1080Ti FE

Hello fellas,

I need some help in identifying a grey-ish stain on my gtx 1080 ti. This stain just came up a month ago and it's bothering me ever since. I dont what to clean it with and I have tried scrubbing it with some tissues and some toothbrushes (no liquid were involved). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The metal is corroding, perfectly normal and not contagious. Either ignore it or be prepared to spend a lot of hours polishing it.

Could well be a tarnishing reaction to skin oils, from when the machine was built...

I frequently edit any posts you may quote; please check for anything I 'may' have added.

 

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

What should i polish it with? Sand paper?
