Polaris BIOS editing? Not for mining and upto date info?

I'm trawling through google results, trying to turn the volts down on my RX580 in hardware (dual bios card). All of the BIOS editing guides I'm running across are for mining, are several years old, are 500+ pages long threads, or all three. I'm looking for some up to date information that's not for mining. I just want to flash one of the dual bios to a more reasonable but stable voltage. I've been using overdriventool but it won't run if the graphics card isn't also the primary display device, which locks me out from using software to reliably control voltage if I'm using it in a multi-gpu system.
