Ryzen 3900x Cooling solution

hi i recently purchased a new pc custom build and stuck with the stock AMD Wraith Prism cooler i have a coolmaster Q300P case and am getting idle cpu temps of around 60-65 degress celsius and when gaming 65-75 degrees celcius i'm unsure whether this is a good temp or if need to switch out for a new cpu cooler.

Those idle temps are high, but what really matters is load temps. Run a full stress test like aida64, prime95, cinebench, etc. and see what your temps are then.

Load temps under 80c are nothign to worry about, even up to 86ish is probably okay, although you'd be compromising a little performance the higher temps you go.

If you're gonna swap out anything, swap out that trash board. I suppose the CPU isnt running hotter (it should if idle temps are this high) only because the board is massively throttling it

The idles are a false report, only Ryzen Master can report idle temps as other software puts load on the CPU when tracking it and can't ping it while idle
