Well if you have a good enough motherboard you could look at the i7 6700k, it was the top of the line of the 6th gen mainstream.

No offence but from the way you put on your system specs I assume that you are have not so much computer savvy so to speak.

So before answering your question I have to ask some questions, why do you want higher clocks as you say?

I mean what do you try to achieve? Better performance in games? your computer does not boot up fast?  do you use a particular program that you want to increase performance?

Can you tell me if you have a graphics card and if you have an SSD?

You probably want to upgrade the GPU instead.

Can you please name a few games you like to play?

The issue is that your medion motherboard seems to support cpu only up to 65watts from what I gather from medion forums...

Can you name the exact model of your medion PC it would be easier to search it that way.

I cant find it even on medions website... sorry...

Well the situation is not clear.... you may be able to add a i7 6700 there  but I can not tell... its messed up the documentation essentially doesnt exist..

But I would go for a cheaper used one but I cant find any proof of compatibility so I wond suggest any other... the 6700 just came up because at a medion forum I found a guy that might have the same mobo as you and has a 6700 on his PC...

so that leaves us with 50 euro (out of 200) because they cost like 150 euros although with a little patience and luck you could get it cheaper on an ebay auction.

well considering current gear and budget yes since you mentioned you are facing issues running apps in the background while gaming

unfortunately your mobo is the limitation and the budget doesnt allow for a new mobo.

Your current graphics card is better than whatever you can buy new at the budget.
