Smallish case?

Prof. Lucifer

Hello. I was going to buy a sidearmd t1 but I decided that is ant to go atx. I

My build has to be semi portable(a few plane flights a year).

I currently already have a few parts:

3700x

Sf600 gold

Sabrent rocket pcie gen 4 1tb SSD

32gb corsair vengeance lpx

Alphacool lt240

2 noctua a12*15 chromax edition fans that are for the alphacool lt240.

I'm thinking about getting an h510 or a meshify c and getting an sfx-atx converter but I want to hear other people's opinions first.

My memory is Lian li at least used to do some cases designed to be used as plane luggage.  Had handles on em and everything.  Dunno if they still do.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Your cables will be too short to reach in an atx case. You’ll probably want to get extensions. Have you considered going itx with the H210i?

Do you think it'd just be better to wait and get the sidearmd t1? I just thought that there aren't many x570 itx options and I don't really like any of them.

You could, but your GPU will probably be loud if you go with a 2070 super/5700xt class card. I’m using the streacom DA2 specifically because it could fit a longer and thicker GPU for better air cooling.

I have a GTX 1080 from my dell XPS tower. I'm pretty sure it's an msi 1080 aero.
