Radeon VII / Vega instability

Soff

So how can AMD sell a $700 card to people and then a month later completely drop it like it never existed?
It got probably a single update, and then it's just been left to rot in favor of navi cards.

Always the same issue.
A black screen/hard reboot after a few seconds.
Sometimes it recovers, sometimes it doesn't.
I've replaced every part of this computer, even the card from a Vega 64 to a Radeon VII (it only started happening once I moved from my RX 480 to Vega), so I can't even consider it a faulty card. It's AMD's lack of shits given about Vega support.

I am using a 1200w power supply and not daisychaining.
It's water cooled and hardly goes above 65 celsius.

Hello,

Which driver version are you using ? I'd recommend the 19.11.3, it's the last WHQL that works perfectly for Vega series.
