New PC to play vr on.

arnekick

Hi i am looking to build a new pc to play vr on. This is what i have so far.

I am looking to spend around 1600 euros. You do not need to calculate the "shipping cost" from parts from the us cause i can get them here around the same price without shipping costs. The only thing i can think of to downgrade is from 3600mhz to 3200mhz ram and less storage or hdd storage.

Any advice would be appreciated.

If you are just gaming and chatting with friends, I honestly don't think you need a 3800X, probably don't even need a Ryzen 7 tbh. The 2070, can probably be lowered to a 2060, and take off the Samsung if your gonna use an Intel M.2 drive and just partition it to your needs, good list though.

Main Rig (Gaming, Programming, Video & Photo Editing, Server Management)

PC Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-9600K (3.7 GHz, 6-Core Processor)

Cooler: Deepcool GAMMAXX GT (29.5 CFM)

Motherboard: Asus PRIME Z390-A (ATX LGA1151)

Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro (16 GB, 2 x 8 GB, DDR4-3200)

Storage: Samsung 860 Evo (500 GB, 2.5" SSD)

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue (1TB, 3.5", 7200RPM HDD)

Storage: Seagate Barracuda Compute (2TB, 2.5", 7200RPM HDD)

Graphics Card: MSI VENTUS XS OC (GeForce RTX 2060, 6GB, 1365MHz)

Case: NZXT H510 Elite (ATX Mid Tower Case)

Power Supply: Corsair RMx 750W (White, 80+ Gold Certified)

OS 1: Windows 10 Home (64-Bit)

OS 2: macOS High Sierra

OS 3: Ubuntu 18.04 LTS

Peripherals & Setup:

Monitors: ASUS VG278Q (1080p, 144Hz, 1ms Response) (x3)

Camera: Canon 500D + 8-135mm IS

Webcam: Logitech BRIO

Keyboard: Logitech G413 (Carbon, Wired)

Mouse: Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum (Wired, Optical)

Desk: IKEA LINNMON / ADILS (Table, Black-Brown, Black)

Headphones: SteelSeries ARCTIS 7 2019 Edition 7.1 Channel Headset

I mean, honestly it's up to you, if you got a little extra to spend, go with a 2070, but because I'm a poor boy earning minimum wage working at Hungry Jacks (Australian Burger King), I'd go with the 2060.

How does that cooler perform?

Arctic is a pretty well known brand and most of their coolers are pretty good, I have used this on a friends PC before, it's quiet, cheap, and looks sexy in a white build.

EDIT: PCPP says it averages 4.7 stars out of 11 reviews.

It's good enough for a 3700x. For half the price of the bequiet, it definitely performs well.
