New Laptop $600

rseuler

Hi - Looking for a new laptop for about $600 USD. Mainly used for internet, MS Office, teaching college courses online, some video conferencing with clients through my EMR portal, decent webcam/mic for Web-ex meetings with colleagues.

Currently using a 13" Lenovo U310 Touchpad, but it's finally falling apart after 7 years. Would like to go up to a 14". Prefer 4# or less as I am taking it back and forth between office/home daily, carting around in my bag to conferences/meetings, so opening/closing frequently. I store most of my documents in the cloud. Needs a good wireless card (something that has been an ongoing problem with my current Lenovo, have had to replace a USB wireless adapter annually and even then it still struggles). I don't use the touchscreen functionality much currently. At least 2 USB ports for my wireless mouse and something else like my hard wired printer. Would love a number keypad as I am often calculating client needs and student grades, etc. Good battery life - at least 6-8 hours for days at conferences/meetings. I love the concept of the 2-in-1 but not sure it would be the best option for me. I am not tech savvy so I won't be doing things like adding RAM, changing out components, etc.

Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

yes, US. I thought I had seen some 14" with number pads. I guess that is negotiable, although desired.

Anyone have any further recommendations? Number pad is negotiable. In the US.

Thanks!
