Is it safe to take the motherboard out of its bag, then reinsert it?

Okay, so I'm getting all my parts in 2 days, and wanted to make sure I knew where the things are etc. Once I was finished, I reinserted the mobo inside its anti static bag and it smells like... Smoke..? Even if my PSU was turned off and plugged in (to ground myself just in case) I immediately plug it out and the smell seem to have disappeared. This may be of course my brain playing tricks on me but I'm still a bit nervous... Is it possible that I fried my mobo or something?

I think nothing really broke. You can check temps with hw monitor or hwinfo.

 

If it works evertyhing is fine.

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

(Also case airflow matter or if you are using Downcraft air cooler)

Gpu tier list. Rtx 3000 and RX 6000 not included since not so many reviews. Tier S for Water cooling. Tier A and B for overcloking. Tier C stock and Tier D avoid.

( You can overclock Tier C just fine, but it can get very loud, that is why it is not recommended for overclocking, same with tier D)
