  1. I'll need a USB C port for the Quest 2 and stuff, but apparently a lot of people couldn't connect their Quest 1 through rear IO's USB C port, so I'd like to test if it is working or not (my mobo is a B450M ASRock Pro4). I could just buy a USB C to USB A adapter, or an extension card, but of course not spending money would be better.
  2. My headset has been doing very silent high pitched noises for about an hour now, it almost sounds like an alarm or something but it cuts out very often, I don't know how to describe it but it sounds like laser beams or something? It's really weird, it does that whether it's plugged in into my PC or my phone so I don't think it's a software or something. I had this headset for about 8-9 months now and it worked just fine, I couldn't find anyone having the exact same problem as me so I don't know what's going on.
  3. My "problem" is explained in the title, I was wondering if this was normal because it was always like that since the first bootup 8 months ago.
  4. I know it's not a huge issue, I just want to know why it happens. I never touched the clock speeds or anything, my temps are really fine and yeah that's about it, just weird so I'm asking why is it like this
  5. I want to boot into Windows without my HDD to see how lourd it is, then turn it off, reconnect the HDD and turn it on. Is it dangerous for my files or is it safe?
  6. Hi, so I've tried to change the peak speed of my R5 2600 to 3.9 Ghz, but I don't know if I can even change that setting or not in Ryzen Master.
  7. Hey, I have a Ryzen 5 2600 with the stock cooler since 5 months now, and I always noticed that my results were a bit lower compared to what I read on the internet, for example I just got 5500 on TimeSpy, ~1080 on Cinebench R15 if I remember correctly, my temps while gaming on CPU intensive games (I play a lot of Rainbow Six Siege) are about 70°C with my stock cooler fan speed set on performance, and about 78°C while rendering a video. Was I just unlucky or is it normal ? By the way I plan on buying a Pure Rock after the pandemic.
  8. Hey, so I just downloaded RTX Voice and it is, obviously, insanely good. I want to show my friends how efficient this program is to remove background music in a video, for example. Is it possible to record desktop audio with this program? OBS seemingly doesn't work, or maybe I'm just doing something wrong. Can you guys help me? Thanks!
  9. So, between a card performing at 70°C and another one at 85°C, the two will last as long?
  10. I'm really worried about damaging my PC since it's the first time I have one. I set my Afterburner's fan speed/temps as to not exceed 70°C while gaming, but is it overkill or something ? If you're asking, I have the dual fan gigabyte model, and since I know the cooling of this card is poor, I tweaked the fan speed so the fans will run at like 80% when I hit 60°C and 90% when I hit 70°C, of course it makes a ton of noise and I don't know if that's really necessary.
  11. I don't know what the issue is, but idle CPU temps being at 60°C is not normal... Even 45°C is a bit high apparently, but it's fine with the stock cooler. Try reinstalling the drivers or even uninstall some drivers if you installed any. I remember installing a socket driver for my motherboard, and my perfs were lower (not as low as you though), so yeah.
  12. Silly question, but since tier E can max out 1600X and 3600X, will it max out a 2600 ?
  13. Yeah, stock cooler. I know it's not great, but 50°C all the time is really not something I want. I set my cpu cooler at full speed on the bios and stuff too, so yeah I think it's a little bit weird. I made sure to close all the programs by the way, it would still be at 3,6-3,7GHz (but if it's normal then fine) and again, still at 50°C. I know the solution would be to get a better CPU cooler, but since I've purchased my PC not so long ago, I'm a bit broke.
  14. As I said in the title, even at 11% load it would still be up to 3,7GHz. (If you don't know and too lazy to check, base clock speed is at 3,4GHz and max turbo boost is 3,9GHz). Because of that, my temps are like 5°C higher (45°C on idle before and 50°C now). I don't think I've touched anything in the bios, I only tweaked my ram speed, what do you think is causing that?
  15. Everything is in the title, basically there's a very slight "tick tick tick" sound when my PC is running, but nothing when it's on the side. What could be causing it? Is it normal or even dangerous?
