backwards compatible

All ryzen processors are backwards compatible. but intel doesnot . Linus made a video about chiness motherboard which is backwards compatible. so why manufacture like msi , asus does not do that

There is a HUGE difference between a mainstream manufacturer who wants to keep their lines of business open with Intel and AMD vs some backyard hacked together motherboard in a factory nobody cares about from some unknown maker.

Because they would like to be able to work with Intel in the future..

Intel is not going to work with someone who works against them.

 

These are some pretty easy answers to figure out, if you just think from the perspective of Intel and their motherboard partners.
