Graphics heating up glass panel issue. Please help.

When playing a game, my Rtx 2070 eventually starts to heat up the glass. Is this going to mean I am thermal throttling and get less performance?

What case do you have? Do you have decent airflow around the card? What are you temps under load?

oh no, the glass is going to melt ...at 1400C

 

you just monitor the cpu / gpu temps along the way

Glass gets warm in my case as well. This is normal, as the entire case gets warm during intense loads, since the components inside are warm.

All cases get warm when you have non-blower GPU coolers. you just raise the ambient temp of your case, monitor the temps, with hwinfo or another monitor of your choice.

Can’t say anything without knowing how the card is running. 

 

Using fancy open air cards means you need better airflow. Same if you are dumping heat into the case via cpu as well.
