Will this Wi-Fi card upgrade be compatible?

Kurios

I have a Dell Latitude E6430 laptop that uses a Dell Wireless 1540 (DW1540), but it is somewhat limited and want to upgrade it to something that has 2.4GHz/5Ghz band and bluetooth... Like the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 (6235ANNGW) which I found at an afordable price. They both seem to be Half-size Mini PCI-E...

I would like to know your advice on whether I could have any issues?

if they both have the same pcie slot there should be no issues. you may need to use ethernet to download the drivers, or download them before hand. However, you may want to consider a wifi card capable of AC band. The one you listed was discontinued in 2012 and the fastest wifi it can use is N band

Being honest, I have no idea how Dell handles WiFi card replacements in their laptops. HP likes to straight up BAN any WiFi card NOT on their approved whitelist, which usually leaves you with exactly 2-3 models to choose from, but I don't believe Dell does this so you can certainly try this.

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, RTX2060) Mobile: OnePlus 5T | Koodo - 75GB Data + Data Rollover for $45/month

Camera: Canon M6 Mark II | Canon Rebel T1i (500D) | Canon SX280 | Panasonic TS20D Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)
