Choosing between a known manufacturer (MSI) and a Chinese equivalent (HKC)

Typhosis

I have been thinking about buying the HKC G271Q from Amazon Canada.  During my research I think I have found that this monitor and the MSI OPTIX MAG27CQ are in fact the same monitor.

Assuming these are the same monitor, are there any gotcha's that might dissuade me from buying the HKC.  The HKC is slightly less expensive, and would be free shipping and no tax.  Which means it is almost $100 less expensive.

What are your thoughts?

My thoughts, On not knowing the brand what so ever, is if there is a free return shipping (Even after the box has been opened) you can try it out.

BUT.

I have found the MSI monitor for the exact same price as the Chinese one.. with free shipping?
