Thanks for the list but I was looking for a prebuilt pc.

This may be the wrong place to go asking for help on a prebuilt.

From the game's recommended specs I think you'd be okay with a Ryzen 5 2400G system which will be under $500.

Maybe if I used a different CPU with out the stock cooler? Will that work? I don't want an extra CPU cooler laying around.

Unless you buy used you're going to get a stock cooler with Ryzen. Most intel chips won't come with a cooler but the you'll need an entirely new build list.

Also either quote or use @ tag so people get notifications as to when you reply and also know who you are replying to.

raw power yes price to performance amd wins and in budget I think they do to. and they win in most photo editing except adobe.

As of right now yes the most expensive intel chip is the best for gaming. But considering your budget that particular intel cpu is out of budget for you. Also this may change once Ryzen 2 benchmarks come out. In a few days when independent benchmarks come out it might be the case that Ryzen 2 beats intel at a lower price.

As for video editing and photo editing that depends on what software you're using but with the exception of Adobe most benefit from Ryzen's higher core numbers.

Also don't use Amazon reviews to gauge the worth of a cpu. Look up benchmarks for the things you want to and see how different chips compare in those games. That being said you're unlikely to see any significant gains in gaming performance at your budget by switching to intel than you would've by getting an AMD system.

I mean everything fits in the case if that's what you're asking. But why did you suddenly ditch the intel build @trevb0t recommended earlier?

Your paying more than twice as much getting that i5 for something like a 25% increase in performance for gaming. For video editing the Ryzen chip is just as good if not better.

That motherboard is also worse than the one from the Ryzen build. The Ryzen one would also allow you to upgrade to a Zen 2 chip.

And that storage isn't going to last very long if you're going to be video editing.

Also you're going down from 1 1660 ti to a RX 590 just so you can squeeze that intel chip in. I don't think it's worth it at that point.

I don't know what you're hoping to see on prime day but it's not going to drop prices so drastically that it's going to make your build any cheaper than it already is.

That's a very long ways off, things could change by then and so it's better to plan your builds close to when you actually plan to build.

Also same thing as prime day. You aren't going to see significant price cuts especially from intel. AMD maybe but those cpus are already going to get a price cut in a few days after Ryzen 2 drops.

4 minutes ago, NotABigGamer said:

If you don't like the case just take that list and pick a case that you do like and plug it into pc parts picker to see if there are any incompatibilities. But that looks fine to me. You aren't exactly spoiled for choice when building on a budget and it's not like the aesthetics of a case is going to increase performance.
