Cell phone signal range extender

My brother was looking at possibilities for a range extender for his apartment due to low cell signal and he asked me for ideas but honestly I have no idea how to set anything up. He's on At&t and I've googled 4g range extender a and seen some with gsm bands but I'm not sure which ones actually work and the process of using them and thought I would ask for advice. I would call up your local AT&T store. Often the carriers themselves sell these types of items and it is likely your local store has one.

I see that the topic is old, but it is relevant to me.
I heard about signal amplifiers and bought it myself.
I've read good reviews about https://www.myamplifiers.com/ There are many different options. I liked the support. They responded quickly and helped with the installation.
Maybe such a signal amplifier is suitable for you?
