Case Recommendations

Justin092

So, I'm going to be upgrading my computer, and would like some good case recommendations.

Wants for the case:

  • Cable Management (Like the "Cable Shroud?" in this case)
  • PSU cover
  • ATX Mid Tower (at least, but would be very happy with Full Tower recommendations for the added space)
  • RGB Fans (included?)
  • Of course a cool design and any other bells and whistles
  • Will consider price upon recommendation, but nothing crazy like $500+
  • Also unsure of the graphics card I'm going to go for, so a case that can fit most graphics cards
  • Will be using a full size ATX motherboard
  • Oh and I would love tempered glass, unless you would advise against ?

Yeah it looks really nice, definitely an upgrade to my Thermaltake Versa N24 as it feels cheaply made. Would love something that feels like good quality and thought went into making it.

I will be honest and say, I did not go fancy with mine but if you would like a Full-Tower with good cable management, the Phanteks Enthoo Pro is not a bad case, and it's $100. RGB would likely be an easy add. I think they have a special version with RGB fans but not sure how much that one is. The case also has a side panel window, not sure if its tempered glass, but there is an option for "RGB Tempered Glass" on Newegg, and it only costs $10 more. The case reviewed well with HardwareCanucks, and I overall I really like it. And it is big! The only sad part is I haven't had it very long and I broke the headphone jack and I will have to get it replaced. Oh well...

Meshify C?

Sure, it doesn't have RGB fans, but only thing you get from RGB is cancer, so lack of RGB is positive feature in my books

Maybe a Corsair case which would match your RAM and AIO and have plenty of room to house that Asus 300mm Strix GPU. First the Spec Omega at $129-$149:

Next the Corsair Obsidian 500D RGB SE at $249.99:

Some other very good Corsair recommendations brought up earlier like 460X, Spec-Omega, and 500D SE.  I'd add Corsair 570X as well to the mix since you mentioned tempered glass.  570X and 500D SE both have cable management channels/covers in the back which comes in handy since they both have rear glass panels.  Really cleans up your cable management when you show it off.  If there are any other features you are looking for, I can help narrow down the options and point you in the right direction.
