Corsair M65 Pro side buttons aren't good now... help!

I had bought my m65 in 2017 in November but recently today the further forward side button had gotten loose or became like a loose tooth if you will, getting stuck inside or getting pointed in the wrong direction. When pushing it may get out of alignment and I will need to stop and try to pry the button loose. Is this a manufacturer defect as I don't use it much and had started using it recently. Answer if you know anything or could help. Thanks!

It is defect. How long is the warranty?

The warranty lasts 2 years. I have now filled a warranty claim. Thanks.
