DisplayPort to USB C?

I got a little USB C DP monitor for my laptop. Found another niche use for it. I could use didplaylink and use it USB to USB. But displayport to USB c would be much better if their was a converter.

 

Anyone aware or one?

 

I know you can get a USB C to DP cable but I'm fairly certain they are one direction right?

USB type C does a lot more than just display, it just doesn't make sense to make an adapter that takes a one-use standard and changes it to a multi-use standard.

What is actually supposed to go here? Some people put their specs, others put random comments or remarks about themselves or others, and there are a few who put cryptic statements.

Doesn't mean someone didn't do it... lots of "doesn't make sense" solutions out there.
