What psu rating and wattage shall I purchase?

Hi guys! I am going to be buying a new psu for my pc the main specs are:

-8gb ram

-msi gaming x 1070ti

-i5 8400

-corsair vs550

 

I am replacing the 550 as it is pretty much a plane engine and also I am not sure how many more watts I should get for upgrades down the line.

You most likely will never need it, but the 750w FOCUS Plus units are on sale right now for a pretty low price

Where are you buying from?

A decent 400W is plenty for a 1070 Ti. 550W for up to a 2080/Ti. Depends on the model of the PSU.
