issues with pc bootup

xdeathshot20

so recently my pc has been starting up incredibly slow.  my last startup was over 40 seconds when it is usally under 10 seconds.  I have updated the software on my ssd to the current firmware and it did make it a bit faster but still not to what it was at.  Also everytime i turn on my pc, it goes into the bios instead of into windows.  I have the correct boot order set, fast boot turned off (even had it on to see if that would fix it).  what else can i do to fix these issues.

Did you check under what condition your ssd is and how many times did you install a new OS on your laptop?

Where does he say laptop ?

Clear your CMOS by removing the battery of your motherboard and ‘shorting’ it.

before you do this make sure psu is switched off and unplugged from the wall socket

Where does your system bootup take the longest:

1. To get to the boot screen

2. To get into windows?

Before you kill your cmos by removing the battery, did you reset your bios once or checked for an update (second one is much more critical to do, so i won't really suggest it)
