Quirk - RTX2070 "hot" audio output

Recently i went from a GTX1070ti to an RTX2070 and i noticed a quirk.

I've been using it on my AV setup (which has a Denon AVR-X2400H receiver), the volume sweet spot with other devices and the GTX is around -27db, but after i got the RTX the volume sweet spot for me with it is around -37db, which indicates it sends the audio signal +10db higher to my receiver.

Thankfully it doesn't affect quality or compatibilty and the fix is as easy as lowering the volume on Windows.

Has anybody else noticed this?

Your windows audio settings may have changed, go to the sound control panel and take a look at the volume output for the digital audio.

RMA, the GTX1070ti developed a heinous case of coil whine and Zotac gave me an RTX2070 under warranty,

At max, like it was with the other card, i control the volume from the AVR.

I also have it configured to output at 24bits/192000hz with 5.1 surround support.
