What will I need for this setup? "Thunderbolt Remote PC setup"

I'm thinking about moving my desktop PC to a separate room for a cleaner desk (inspired by Linus' personal rig from 2016).
To do so I probably need at least 3 meters of cable. At my desk I'll be placing 3k / 4k high-refresh rate monitor (so DisplayPort) and standard peripherals (mouse/keyboard/etc).

Except finding a decent PCI-e Thunderbolt expansion card I think this should be doable without too much hassle(?). I'd highly appreciate recommendations.

However, I'm also pondering about stretching an additional cable to my TV further away. The TV is mostly used for gaming, so the idea is to have a hub for gamepads and at least one HDMI 2.1 output (for 4K/60Hz). As far as I can tell daisy chaining from the desk hub to the TV should work fine? If not, I'll likely be able to go directly from the PC.

However, it is also my understanding that TB3 cables are only available up to 3 meters (though, so far I have only found 2 meters at local retailers). The question then is whether a 10m TB2 optical cable will be sufficient for my planned usage? I've found a few sources which suggests that this setup should work fine, but strangely most of them are very outdated.

You can most likely use active or optical cables just fine.

When getting thunderbolt cards, doublecheck it is TitanRidge or later.

You can get a 3m copper Thunderbolt 2 cable.

You will also need a Thunderbolt header on your motherboard to support the PCIe card.

I genuinely don't know if you can do a high enough DisplayPort revision over Thunderbolt 2 to support 4k 60Hz.
