Motherboard Upgrade

Hello Everyone, 

     I was hoping I can get a few people opinion and suggestions in choosing a new motherboard as I plan on adding 2 more Sticks of ram to get 16gb  (Currently using 8gb). As my current motherboard cannot hold more than 2 sticks of ram. I've also had an issue of installing the Cpu fan cooler with the current motherboard as it would press down and practically bend the board. I'll take any suggestions at reasonable prices between 100$-299$

If you want to upgrade your board maybe you should save up for a new platform like Ryzen. New motherboard might as well come with a new CPU.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad
