How to sell bitcoin?

Sorry I don't know if you are allowed to talk about this if not and you're a MOD can you please delete.

A friend just got sent about £70 in bitcoin, he's never used it before just quickly set up a wallet to get the coins I've never used it before either but he asked me how to sell. I had a bit of a search and a guy is recommending getting a bitcoin debit card with some app that you can then use to sell the coin or just buy stuff using it as a regular debit card. Is this the only way to sell your coin or are their sites where you can just sell straight from your wallet. Sorry if this is a dumb question but like I said I've never used it before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also even if your not a MOD and you know if it's OK to talk about on the forum can you let me know so I can quickly snip it I don't want to get any strikes or anything.

You can use Coinbase to change it to pounds. There is a fee mind you and depending on the value of Bitcoin, your friend might not get exactly 70 pounds.
