SteadfastWhiplash reacted to Senzelian in What VESA screw is used for ASUS TUF VG249Q? Lost mine in move.
Typically they're M4, M6 or M8 screws. Considering your monitor has a 100x100 vesa mount I'd assume they're M4 screws.

I had to get a bunch of screws too, because I made a VESA mount, where there wasn't one before. I went to a thrift shop, and I asked them if they had a few screws. 50 cents later, my monitor was mounted.

Only the slot difference, just go about installing your OS the same as with any other drive.

SteadfastWhiplash got a reaction from vishal_adi in What laptop should I buy?!
For mobile workstations I looked into HP, Dell, and Lenovo. Dell and HP are completely out of your price range for any comparable model, so the P52 Mobile Workstation https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/thinkpad/thinkpad-p/ThinkPad-P52/p/20M9CTO1WWENUS0/customize? from Lenovo seems to be your best bet. It has a massive battery, a dedicated quadro GPU and a six core i7 for $1400. It comes with 8GB RAM and 500GB HDD out of the box but it's INCREDIBLY simple to add more storage.

At this point they should release HL4 with references to past events and obvious plot holes just to troll us.

Yeah have you seen the prices of 980 Ti's on Ebay? They're going for under $400 each, even with this mining craze.

artifacting most likely caused by a bad cable or a bad gpu.

Thanks guys!

Just installed VyperVPN Pro and nothing has changed while in a game. Everything else is much smoother though (as far as I can tell).

SteadfastWhiplash got a reaction from sobe in dt 990 vs hd 598
I had this same problem a few months ago. I chose to get the DT 990s but get the HD 598s if you wanna play it safe. The DT 990s are a lot better though if you like their sound signature, it's a love it or hate it relationship.
