Well the UGreen one I linked is running a 96W PSU, so it should be right.

It wouldn't be Microsoft's fault unless it's possible to keep pressing one button and kept purchasing the same one constantly. Safe guard against under 6 year olds mashing on the controller. Default for I accept/agree should be no.

I think someone needs to have a chat with Mark.... Tech is meant to get cheaper over time, therefore the old dev kit would not be worth the same today as it was beforehand.
 
I don't think it should have costed this much to be honest, but I can see why it is this much.
 
I, like many others believe they should have just sold the main unit by itself. Most gamers that have a system good enough to power this, will have a controller and decent headphones. Taking that into account the ~$1100 (AUD) is ridiculous. At most it should have been around the ~$800 mark in my opinion.
 
$132 for shipping is also ridiculous.

I was lucky on that one. Currently in Sydney working for the Holidays and got a mate in Townsville to go and grab it. Nothing much was in Sydney, or at least I was to slow at getting to stores on my work lunch breaks.
 
Might want to add to the OP that the Tech part of David Jones stores is run by Dick Smith, therefore they have the sales as well.
 
 
Mostly everything is gone by this point, you may find some cheap ones, but probably not worth buying. Saturday might have something though. Pretty sure it's going to be 70% off everything left (old stock that is).
