the q,e,t,r,p keys are technically pink but my camera sucks so it looks like white. The F keys have no led color changers on them while the letters and function keys have so it gives sort of a comparison. I'll try to get another picture of the full keyboard with full LED color changers and i'll update this post. The G710+ has white backlight and i've also seen some people use blue leds but can't find the link currently. Haven't seen anyone who used red leds for this though

8000=P(1+0.025/4)^20
 
How I got 4: compounded quaterly so 4 times per year
20: 4times*5years=20
EDIT: 0.025: 2.5%/100 (to get decimal)= 0.025
solve for P by calculating (1+0.025/4)^20 and 8000/Answer you got after calculating  (1+0.025/4)^20

Just received the email today:
In short, vote before October 20, 2014 and during October 23-27 you are able to redeem the game. You would have to register through Playfire to get your steam code unfortunately. Its available to only 18+ users as the game is 18+ (so make sure you have the right birthday to qualify .

Think the people who enrolled in the preview had to accept a licence agreement.

I think it is as why would the website tell you to install a game to claim your prize? I think if you won they would send you an email or call you rather than text you.

No.  The OP already quoted it but you will not receive anything further about the giveaway until October 23.  At that point you will be directed to the giveaway site, and as long as both your playfire account (must be linked to Steam) and your CVG account are using the same email, you should get a code (as long as supplies last).

Just realized it was Enhanced Steam plugin (a plugin that gives you info such as the lowest price of all time for a specific game and convenient access to tf2 trading links such as backpack.tf) that made this. That is a very early account that you have there.

That's cool. It would be even cooler if it had an algorithm that picked a random game on your wishlist and gave it to you

So my account just reached three years today and steam changed the background and the logo to be confetti and gifts. Think this is a new feature which is pretty cool imo. But unfortunately there's no gifts that come along with it.


UPDATE: Just realized it was Enhanced Steam's plugin that made this and its not related to steam. Wish they had this feature.

If you don't have Asus' software you can use SpeedFan:http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php Sometimes the BIOS can have options to change RPM speeds.

I have issues with the LTT community. I would like to express it so that some of you may become a better contributor.
 
The forum has lots of threads, and it's great to get your concern solved.
But I found that I almost never get a thread solved.
 
Several minutes ago, I asked a question: How Much Performance Decrease From i7 to i5 for Game Streaming?
The answers were there in less than a minute. Maybe even half of that.
Because they didn't even answer my question.
 
The first answer was "yes the i7 would be better for streaming" (which the post was later edited to add "but an i5 would probably be good enough.")
 
Which still doesn't answer my question.
 
A month ago, I asked 2 specific questions about push/pull, and in less than a minute, I got an answer.
The answer was a link to Linus' video "Push or Pull or Push/Pull" which was almost irrelevant to my post.
 
The main issue that users skim the title and rush to answer the post in hopes to get likes.
I understand that your profile counts the number of likes that you have, which give you a good rep.
 
But I think that the whole point of the LinusTechTips forum is to be able to educate someone and help each other out.
 
So please, read the title and description before posting. It really helps.

I believe he was talking about being able to bind something else to the scroll up and down. Like, to use Lukes reference to donger raising in twitch chat, when I use the mouse wheel scroll up it will spam "Raise your dongers" and if I wanted to lower said dongers I could use the mouse wheel scroll down. Not have a different key mimic the scroll wheel.
 
As a side note, whomever edited the video. "<" is "less than" where as the ">" you used, means "greater than". I know you did it on purpose to give ultra detail oriented software testers like me something else to do while watching the video. I appreciate it. Thanks.
