Red_Fox_1293 got a reaction from BTGbullseye in What integrated graphics should I use?
those ryzen ones are probably the most igpu you can get

Red_Fox_1293 got a reaction from Fasauceome in why the mx450
def the mx450 for decoding h.265.
in general, it's better to separate the cpu and gpu for more performance and allocation of resources in general. (also I think the mx450 outperforms the iris)

Red_Fox_1293 got a reaction from malawar in First PC Assembled - Boots up - No signal on monitor
just make sure you are on the latest agesa bios from you mobo manufacturer. This may require a 3000 series amd chip or earlier. Also, are you xQc this is a lot like his build (formula has water cooled vrms, ice giant is an air cooler)

Red_Fox_1293 got a reaction from malawar in Good Threadripper motherboard?
the 3 that i would recommend to anyone are the gigabyte trx40 designare, the gigabyte trx40 aorus xtreme (both for vrm and aesthetics), and the asus zenith ii extreme alpha (best all around)

Red_Fox_1293 got a reaction from ajspeedy5 in Would like pc for Gaming/schoolwork
overkill af but nice build. i'm not sure if 2600 can go on x570, going x470 will ensure compatibility and save you a buck or two. also, why 1.5 tb storage?

Red_Fox_1293 got a reaction from OledAndy in Should my Memory be 16Gb or 32Gb for Gaming PC
16 gb is more than enough for most games, and it is a good sweet spot for multitasking.

something like an old thermal paste spreader would also work

Red_Fox_1293 got a reaction from pintop in New Build With 3070, Need Recommendations
damn. mpg gungnir is a bit janky tho. this is mostly a very balanced build, but just a few recommendations.
1. you don't need 750 watt power supply 650 or even 550 should be fine
2. on intel, speed doesn't matter as much, but timings matter more for ram. try changing that to cl14 kit.
3. use the phanteks p600s. just make it simple.
