Just found out that Chrome Remote Desktop is a thing. Now I can manage my machines for free and without knowledge of the techno-wizardry. Just wish it didn't involve selling another portion of my soul to our greedy, sadistic benevolent overlords, but c'est la vie when you're 'poor' and not well-versed in the dark arts.

 
Wish I'd known about it during the Covid-19 event and Folding Month. Would've kept me from going dark a bunch of times, but oh well. 
 
Edit: To keep Google from holding too much of my soul, I switched to a different VNC. Thanks to @Bitterand @LazyDevfor giving me the idea.

Port Forwarding your inside systems at home to the Internet is a bad idea especially in light of some recent issues found in older folding client software.
 
You'd be better off setting up a home VPN (OpenVPN) on a NAS if you have one or use a service like Go to my PC etc.

You may have to setup port forwarding, but it can be done.

If it's within your home network just use a VNC client/server if you want GUI remote control.

I might be a bit late in saying this, but I was really looking forward to the RTX 3070 launch, and the lack of availability sucks. The folding potential would've been fantastic!

I might be a bit late in saying this, but I was really looking forward to the RTX 3070 launch, and the lack of availability sucks. The folding potential would've been fantastic!

I'm on track to have my second best month of folding ever! Almost as good as when I used mercenaries in the COVID-19 event!
