You also have to consider the production of both materials as well. You also have to consider e-waste which is rarely ever recycled for some reason. Anyway for the process of making glass (which I know little about correct me If I'm wrong) you need a specific type of sand which comes from riverbeds. Its needed due to it's very round nature which happens from water erosion. Obviously making either glass or plastic is not good for the environment. but we also have to consider how apple fixes the back glass. There are lots of variables I hadn't thought much about until now. This is a nightmare in every sense of the word.

The plastic can't be nearly as bad as the 600 dollar back glass "replacement" on an iphone 10.

In my case when we had Xfinity the ip login to the router configuration page was 10.0.0.1 instead of 192.168.1.1 usually the default username is username or admin and the default password is usually password sometimes its 1234 Although we were using the ISP provided router so this all changes between makers of your router. The 3770 is a little pricey but if hyperthreading makes a reasonable difference for server performance might not be such a bad buy. But I'll probably do a full hardware upgrade before then.

A decent few generation old intel core i5 should be more than enough for most people I'd imagine. Hyperthreading might boost server performance a bit but I'm not entirely sure how that works. As of now I'm running a vanilla server on an i5 3570 and haven't had issues yet I plan to upgrade to a 3770 at some point though. I'd recommend hardware a little newer than mine however. Edit: minecraft servers only use one core. No need for multiple cores your best bet is a high clocked older intel cpu anywhere above 3.5ghz is probably fine.

Yes, in windows 10 atleast probably older version too you can set the drive idle time before it powers down.
