OnePlus Unbrick Tool / Factory Tool: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7-pro/how-to/guide-mega-unbrick-guide-hard-bricked-t3934659
    OnePlus Diagnostics App: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/oneplus-ltd/oneplus-diagnostic/

    Some information about these tools:

Despite the factory tool being referred to as an "Unbrick Tool", it's the same piece of software you see in this video:

    (Timestamped @ 8:18)

Phones, when assembled do not have any software installed (besides Qualcomm's Emergency DownLoad Mode, which this tool utilizes to flash things), so the manufacturer must flash Android themselves, somewhere along the lines, this tool got leaked and people have been using it to truly "factory reset" their phones to a more extensive degree as opposed to factory resetting through the "Settings" app. The reason it is called an Unbrick Tool is because it is way more commonly used as a tool that can recover the device from any issues that occurred while tinkering with the phone (e.g. rooting, installing custom ROMs, installing custom kernels, etc.) as long as the device turns on, this tool can recover it. Please note, this tool will flash a very old version of OxygenOS, you can update manually after the device has booted.

The OnePlus Diagnostic App behaves a bit more differently compared to apps like AccuBattery because OnePlus, as the manufacturer, knows what directories to look in to check for battery states and what not, this app not only checks battery health, but can also check temperatures, help you check for dead pixels, and run you through tasks that insure you have a fully functional device.

Excalibur20 reacted to Snowarch in Low FPS on Minecraft with shaders (GPU useage only 30%) Help!
can someone please help here? i am having a similar issue with those shaders(bsl) my gtx1060 gets 100% usage while running minecraft with shaders, and cpu is no where near 100%, but...

30-19 fps with bsl, 60-70 with seus. i like bsl a lot better, so some help here? bsl runs teh same frame rate 4k or 1080p for me as well. feels smooth, but those frames. is there something programmed in the shader to limit its frames to 30 like a console?

For solid desks, if you're able to wait you're probably better off finding a local furniture business after the COVID-19 situation dies down. Solid desks just aren't sold as often online because they're so bulky in warehouses and expensive to ship long distances, and when they are then nicer models aren't as readily available. If you can't wait, there are some options out there, but I don't have recommendations for specific desks.

Not sure what country you're in, but check wayfair and local hardware store/furniture store websites and you might be able to find some things.

You don't have an SSD listed and the PSU chosen is quite terrible. Get a CX550 PSU instead.
The motherboard also isn't that great, I would consider an MSI B450 Gaming Plus instead.

And a bit of commentary... I feel a bit low about marching in here with my big cloud cluster and "winning." I had no need to win but, in fact, was on a learning rampage. I was learning AWS, the CDK, ECS, Docker, Nodejs, Typescript, auto-scaling, AWS Budgets, Linux, GitHub, pull requests... the list goes on an on.

I have tremendous respect for the rigs you built. Drooled over the build logs @Den-Fi posted. That stuff is beyond me. I can't even get LED strip to work on the front of my computer case!  Mine was an exercise in software architecture and cheap cloud computing at scale.

@walderston I'm not sure what you are running but that is an impressive climb! @n0xlf Linux fist-bump - good to fold with you. @leadeater and @GOTSpectrum fantastic way to build a community and run a contest.

Great job everyone! Will keep the laptop's 1070MQ folding, and the 2080 going during down time, but I think Ye Olde 980ti is going back into retirement for now.

    Minimum Participation Requirements For Prizes
    10 Days with activity* & 500,000 Points
(*activity is defined as completing at least 1WU for the 24 hour period)
This is our highest yet but should be possible for most people seeing as most modern GPUs and CPUs can hit this. These must be met DURING the event. Points produced before the start date do not count!

They already do. If your CPU isn't folding it might just be waiting for a WU due to too many requests like outlined in the big blue box

They are. They are just very overloaded with all the love we are showing towards the cause... They can't keep their servers fed with new work, and their servers are being HAMMERED by all of us. Just be patient, there is plenty of COVID work to do. If its been over an hour and your client doesn't have a job, you can pause and restart. This will kick it to try and get a new work server to get WU's from. Don't do this too often tho, because excessive pings will just make their servers slower.
