    Is ASUS having issues with their Z690 Maximus Hero boards?  Went to Microcenter to buy one and they had 5 open box returns for purchase but no new boards...

Hopefully Microcenter took that precaution and those boards are just people returning it because they didn't want to bother with checking if it was affected or not.

    Basically what the title says. Searching around I find a lot of coolers that have LGA 1700 kits you can order but I'd like to find something that has been redesigned to cover the entire surface.

    I've only used WD red/white drives for my NAS boxes. If the data isn't critical you can get away with non-NAS specific drives as well. It all comes down to your level of risk.

    In before all the S22 pictures flood the SOYLP thread. The green really is quite nice. Some H2 paste and a ThinkCentre. Really been into these 1 Liter PCs lately, this is my first entry into the Ryzen Pro line.

    Why not look at a used Lenovo ThinkCentre mini. You can get a nice 8600 / 16GB ram / 256GB ssd for 350.
